Hello Shawn!
I found the solution based on forums outside of WordPress. A single user had the same problem as me and the following moves fixed the problem.
1. Disable PowerPress
2. Erase all mention of fields with “powerpress” in it in the wp-options table of the WordPress Database
3. Activate PowerPress
4. While it erased my custom podcast (which had nothing in it anyway), the default and newly created podcast finally appear in the custom field of a post as “Podcast Episode (default) and “Podcast Episode for CUSTOMPODCAST” along with BluBerry. While the cause of that is strange, I’ve noticed that the field was indeed corrupted. The website was moved from different servers from time to time and the DB once crashed, which might be the reason that the corruption went into PowerPress’ field.
Hurray for super obscure bug!`
I’d like to thank you for the help and tips you provided me, and I can very understand that it was near impossible to find the cause without directly accessing the site.

The dev is actually a dev version of the website where the custom boxes don’t appear. It is done so because it’s a feature requested on a live site and to make sure I can do any tests, the dev was created.
It uses the GeneraPress theme, but even with Twenty Nineteen or other WordPress them, they don’t appear. The three options (Category podcasting, Podcast Channels and Post Type Podcasting) are here, and ticking them or not doesn’t seem to change anything, even after reading the cache or even removing the caching plugin.
The only thing left is a possible DB corruption.`
Hello Shawn,
I’ve double checked and the option to actually check the Podcast Episode box isn’t here at all. Custom Fields was checked but nothing changed.
I also attempted to desactivate, delete and reinstall the plugin, including using an earlier version of it (8.7.10.) which work on the other site and unfortunatly, nothing works.
The problem seems to be the fact that the Podcast Episode box is not present for some reason in the screen option. Is there a way to force it via PHP? I also have access for the database.
Hello Shawn!
Tried with a wordpress base theme (the 2020). With all plugin off except Powerpress and they are still not showing.
Hello Shawn!
The site is using post type, though it was set up to use the default “Post” post. Post type Podcasting doesn’t work unfortunately. I also set up a dev version of the website so I can test the plugin and I’ve found out that even if I deactivate every plugin but bluberry Powerpress, the custom field will still not show up.

Hello Shawn!
Ill take a look around this and report back!
Another note Id like to add is that when I am checking the screen option settings (when I am in a new post), I can see all the custom field such as Yoast and LearnDash, thought “Podcast Episode” doesn’t appear. The other site has the same two plugins previously mentionned.
Hello Shawn!
Yes, this is the intended idea. On another website I have, Powerpress was able to show the custom field in a new post after following the tutorial video. Sadly, this is not the case with this website. The only thing I can think is a potential plugin conflict.
