I am having the exact same problem. I had to deactivate every plugin I had to find out that MailChimp was causing this issue. I really want to integrate MailChimp on my site (hmnabavian.com), but this is a major deal breaker. I have no choice but to keep it deactivated until this is patched up.
It’s kinda working. I uninstalled, re-downloaded and installed the plugin. The widgets show up, sometimes. But I’m getting this message displayed on the category pages now
