Thanks so much for your help so far. I just tested https://doctorpopular.com/shop/the-weekender-yo-yo/ and had the same issue happen twice in Chrome browser, but still can’t get it to happen in Safari for iOS. I also tried it on an Android device and it worked fine.
I’ve only made one change on my site in the past week, which was installing “WPCode Lite“, a plugin which makes it easy to add a short code snippet to my header. I added a meta:creator tag in my header.
I also have auto-updates on for my plugins, so it’s possible there was an automatic update from Woo or some other Woo related plugin.
My customers are telling me they are having this specific issue on a Samsung Galaxy (probably using Samsung Internet browser) and on an iPhone (probably using Safari Mobile). Oddly enough, Chrome is how they finally placed their order (which is probably a fluke). I’m not currently able to recreate it on my iPhone, but I have seen it happen on Safari mobile in the past.
I’m still unable to recreate this issue, but I’ve confirmed it’s still happening to the users who reported it earlier. When they visit the site it still shows other people’s info.
Two of the users said they encounter the issue on iOS, but not on Chrome on their laptops.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ActivityPub] Some posts not including the URL to the blogI have that set up as “Note (default)”. I also haven’t made any changes to any plugin settings since the previous 3 posts. This could be a one time problem, I haven’t posted again yet to see if the link shows up or not.

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] 10422 error:Thanks so much for that link! It’s weird that it says it’s an API issue if it’s actually an issue with the funding source, but I’m glad to know it’s not an issue with my site.
I really appreciate your quick response and help.

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] PayPal Payments Pro 2.0 (PayFlow) EorrorTLDR: re-installing the plugin seemed to fix the problem.
Hi Oliver, I don’t see a comment from Andrew (unless that is “angelleye”), so I feel like I’m not fully understanding your suggestion. Just in case I misspoke, I don’t want to be in Sandbox mode, so I have it disabled in the dashboard, however I am still getting a notice at the top of the page that Sandbox mode is enabled and thus I am not able to process payments.
I wasn’t seeing any option called “live mode” and I wasn’t sure what you meant by clearing the cache, so I just uninstalled the plugin and re-installed it. I don’t have that error message showing up now, so I’m hoping this is all fixed. It might have just been a bug where it thought sandbox mode was enabled, when it wasn’t. Sorry if that feedback isn’t helpful, but hopefully this is fixed and I can receive payments now. Thanks for the reply!

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] PayPal Payments Pro 2.0 (PayFlow) EorrorI’m having a similar situation. Sandbox mode is not active, but I have the error message in my dashboard that “WooCommerce PayPal Express is currently running in Sandbox mode and will NOT process any actual payments.”

In reply to: [WooCommerce] “Flat” shipping charges double or triple when passed to PaypalHey, sort of. I’m still wondering how to refund these. I still don’t know how to refund all my customers for their extra shipping.
I used the refund option in WooCommerce and the customer got notified that they had been refunded, but it doesn’t look like they actually got their money back. Paypal still shows the extra $4. Shouldn’t I be able to refund someone through WooCommerce’s dashboard? If they are getting notified that they have been refunded it seems like it should be possible.
I am using flat rate and the default WooCommerce theme. It was replicatable with just the two plugins enabled, so I deactivated the Braintree plugin and the problem went away. I guess it’s an issue with their plugin.
I installed another paypal plugin and the shipping issue seems fixed.
Any suggestions for how to do refunds easily and accurately? I tried doing a refund through WooCommerce in my dashboard. It notified the customer about the refund, but didn’t appear to actually refund their paypal total.
Looking at it deeper, it looks like Paypal is adding shipping ON TOP of the shipping already in the order. So if a customer orders two things, their total will be A+B+flatshipping, but when they check out through paypal they are asked to pay the flatshipping fee again for each item in the cart, so A+B+flatshipping+flatshipping.
This error does not seem to be a problem if the customer only buys one thing.

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] Validation error: PayPal amounts do not matchGood question, I have “WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Gateway” so maybe that’s the plugin that’s being used. So maybe I’m on the wrong forum?
Sidenote, I’ve also determined that all of these problem orders had more than one item… so instead of taking the shopping cart total (2 items plus flat shipping), Paypal is adding that shipping cost on each item (2 items plus 2x flat shipping). Just a heads up in case that problem comes up for y’all too. Sorry for flagging the wrong forum.

In reply to: [Twitter] Twittter Cards not appearingThanks for the help. I prefer the large card template anyway so I’ll see if I can have someone help me track down how to edit this. I searched in my site’s header and couldn’t find witter_card_type. I’ve tried looking around my site (in the header.php and other places), but haven’t found the twitter_card_type to customize it. I’m feeling a little dumb, so I’ll try to find a friend who can help me track it down.
