  • I have a related issue. The prev/next icons show, but the are very small, not very distinct. I found the name of the class for these buttons, but cannot find its definition in the code.

How can I get better buttons?

In addition, I’d like to be able to change the navigation tabs and button background color to match the theme. How can I do that?

Yes, it must be user errors when the plugin does not work as advertised. However, consider the following:

If you select the Themes option from the Calendar menu in the WordPress Editor, you get a message that “this feature is disabled for the non-commercial version.”

If you look through the Edit Theme options displayed on that page, you find one to Display Category Legend. On this view, the “Yes” option is selected. Is that the default option or not? This Edit Theme option does not seem to be present in the online Calendar documentation, which, BTW, is nice, with helpful videos.

The information describing the theme at ww.wp.xz.cn has this statement “Filtering possibility in the front end: when clicking upon the category legend it will display events of that category only.” and this one: “Possibility to display events of only specific categories, when pressing the mentioned category labels below.” The section showing features added in the commercial version has this: “Possibility of displaying/hiding the category legend below the calendar widget. ”

However, when one adds the calendar to a page using the widget button installed by the plugin, there is no option to set the Category Display option, and the resulting calendar does not display the Category Legend below the calendar. I tried various ways of adding the option to the shortcode but was unsuccessful.
