    Okay, I’ve solved it.

Turns out that ‘WP Rocket’ was causing issues even though I’d deactivated it. I think maybe the cache wasn’t being cleared properly.

Apologies for the delay, been on another project for the last week or so ( but thanks for your prompt reply though).

Before testing plugins I noticed in the console log this error:

    Can't find variable: slickNavVars

This morning I’ve Gradually deactivated plugins and found that I can get the menu to appear if I turned off ‘WP Mega Menu’ (v1.4.2) which is being used for the desktop versions of the site. However, whilst turning that off did work, the only thing that appeared was the SlickNav menu – not even the content on the page rendered! I removed the code which was rendering ‘WP Mega Menu’ and everything on the page was displayed as normal.

However, having deactivated ‘WP Mega Menu’, I cleared the cache but still had the issue with SlickNav not displaying when logged out but it was displaying when logged in.

Hi, thanks for coming back to me so quickly. I think there must have been some crazy caching issue going on, when I deactivated and re-activated the child theme it now works.

Apologies for wasting your time, thanks again for making a cracking plugin!

    🙂
