In reply to: What is going on here?It turn out that ALL THREE of my posts were deleted. Well, two were deleted and one changed to “How to install WordPress”, which is NOT what my posts were about. I posted that I can’t get the Buddypress FORUM to activate. WTF is wrong with these admins that they change my post, delete two of my posts, making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to get my problem solved? What a bunch of crap.

I installed Buddypress Forum, tried to activate it, it failed. So I rebooted my computer, tried it again, activation failed so I uninstalled it, downloaded a fresh ZIP file directly from the website, installed it, tried to activate it and it failed three times.
Any other suggestions, or should I just use another forum? Thanks.
So it won’t allow me to change the title now, so it’s not likely I’ll get any suggestions for my REAL problem. I included the tag “https://ww.wp.xz.cn/tags/buddypress-forum-fails-wp-install-multiple-times” but anyone who sees the changed title here will probably leave. Why on Earth would an administrator change the effing title of my plea for help?

My Contact Form isn’t sending to my admin email address. I don’t know WHERE it’s going. I tested it and I don’t see the Contact info anywhere. Where does it go when someone fills out the Contact Form on http://SonomaCountyMusic.com/submission-form/? Thanks.
BTW I don’t know the difference between “production sites” and “development sites”. Would you explain? Really, I just buy domains, set up websites on them and then try to sell them or keep them for myself, but I’m not a pro. I don’t know html. I know Cyberchimp and that’s about it. 🙂 Thanks for any help you can offer. If I should disable the WP_DEBUG constant, I’ll have to do it on all my site, I imagine. How do I do that exactly? Thank you in advance!
Jeremy – I’m no pro. I don’t know how to disable the WP_DEBUG constant (#) or even what that means. I try to keep my sites updated at all times, but having so many to update when WordPress issues an update, it takes awhile for me to get them all done. I’ll try what you said.
Right now, for example, because of the Jetpack error, I can’t even login to my admin access at all. the /wp-admin login only shows me more error notifications, and I can’t see anything else. That is, I can’t see WP_DEBUG bcause I can’t see anything but error messages. So I have to go in from my server side, delete the Jetpack folder from my plugins folder, and then what? Reinstall Jetpack?
I’ve completely lost faith in Jetpack, although it offers such great features. I’ve been surprised too many times when I’ve sent someone out to look at a site and was told “There seems to be a problem with your site” and it is always Jetpack. How can I avoid that? Any ideas? Thanks.
