The problem has been resolved. In Google Workspace, it was blocked out even though I saw the calendar was set to public and free.
Thank you for your help. It was greatly appreciated in trying to troubleshoot.

The settings in the Google calendar has a checkmark “Make available to public.”
Do you have any other suggestions? The calendar would not show the two events on Jan 7 and Jan 9th.
See the two calendars at the bottom of this link. The one on top is Simple Calendar and the one at the bottom is the Google Calendar.

Yes, I’m using beaver builder but I did switch to the basic WP theme to test if the theme was throwing it off.
