In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] π£ Events Tickets 4.7.4Fix β Make sure the Paypal orders are being recorded.
I have been using this for an event, and there have been ticket purchases, which we have no record of other than the PayPal emails sent to us. The purchasers didn’t get tickets (when I did a test purchase it came back “no purchase was made”). Is there any way I can add attendees and generate tickets?
Also the purchase form appears not to work on mobile because it takes so very long. It does eventually seem to progress to the checkout page, but users are reporting it doesn’t work because they didn’t wait that long.

In reply to: [Shortcodes Ultimate - Content Elements] Fatal Error (sometimes)I’m having the same problem and I don’t have this plugin installed, so it’s probably not the fault of the plugin.
UPDATE:
I was wrong, I have tried and tried and tried to get it to stop preventing delivery orders, and it just keeps saying “please select a pickup time”. I moved the whole thing outside of the actual checkout form, I removed all the classes that had anything to do with requiring or validating, and still, no one can place a delivery order.
Does everyone who uses this *only* have pickup, or am I doing something wrong?
Update: nevermind, i just hid it with JQuery and removed the required-validate class if the delivery methods were selected.
Sorry to bug you, that was an easy one.
When I was deleting, it briefly said something about “and all your data” but I clicked through anyway, then instantly regretted it. They are still there, I reverted to the old version and checked.
I’m not even sure this is the problem, I was just hoping it would help since the other people having the problem sound like they’re experiencing similar things.

I was having a lot of problems with my forms not working, and I may have screwed up very badly (I had four forms, ranging from 2 – 4 pages with probably several hundred fields total). To install it I had to uninstall the version I had, and then when installing this one, this happened (plugin could not be activated as it triggered a fatal error)
So … I’ve lost all my forms, haven’t I?

In reply to: [Form Builder | Create Responsive Contact Forms] No notificationWow, what a helpful, friendly response from the devs!
If you do something wrong in the email notification settings, the plugin won’t tell you, it’ll just fail quietly and sit there doing nothing. No error messages, no validation on the form fields to tell you which thing you need to fix. And then when you express your frustration, the devs don’t bother to answer, they just tell you you’re dumb and lazy.
There are many forum threads on this very issue, which is apparently quite common but the devs don’t address this in the documentation (or fix the actual issue). Instead, they take the time to insult and belittle their users. Considering their bad UI and lousy documentation, they should think about being a little nicer to the people who are confused by it.

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Plugin HackedI cleaned the initial infection, but there were backdoors — it roamed all through my webserver, with that base64 thing. I spent 8 hours cleaning everything, and it’s been clear since. I’m unwilling to do the “export everything then burn it with fire” approach just yet, but if it comes back I might have to.
I’m kind of bothered that there isn’t more information on this at MailPoet’s site, at least a knowledge base article on the subject. To acknowledge such a severe vulnerability as a line item on a changelog seems a bit irresponsible, considering they gave hackers console-level access to our servers for four days.
I have been running the event calendar without incident on WP 3.8.1, and suddenly developed this error with the missing class information.
I’m sad to be losing this plugin, but really there’s no way I can run something that might randomly break my whole website when I’m not looking, even when no one’s changed anything.
