Mihai,
OK the issue was with my .htaccess
Fixed now, and all is well, I appreciate all your help.
Mihai,
Yes the image names appear in the console.
I tried something. I used http instead of https and the site worked.
How to fix the problem ?
Please help, this has been really killing me.
Thanx you in advance, have a great day.
Mihai,
No cache plugins.
Oddly sometimes the nggallery logo will load.
Occasionally some WP images won’t load on the backend.
I took some pix, uploaded outside of nggallery. But when I check the site I get my 404 image. Even when logged out.
Here’s a snippet some I see when I right click an image that didn’t load.

Mihai,
No images load on the main website while logged in, they only appear when I’m logged out.
Which cache are you referring to ?
The server cache ? I had hostgator do that already last weeek.
I have cleared the cache and reset nggallery.
The back end is a little more strange. The logo.png (nggallery logo) doesn’t load, no images in manage galleries have images.
Yes the images load in a new tab.
has this happened to anyone else ?
Thank you I would appreciate the feature request.
Thank you, I appreciate your help.
P.S.
The above didn’t work.
The path setting was looking for the Google Drive address on my server.
The path didn’t let me go outside my server.
I just don’t want to make this problem worse.
Which directories should I back up from the nggallery ?
I’ve checked the image directories, and those are fine, I just want to back up my current version of the nggallery.
Thank you
Thank you, so glad to hear, I didn’t like updated.
But you don’t think an update would resolve my problem ?
One quick question.
The only reason I haven’t updated nggallery was I saw that a certain version wouldn’t support legacy galleries.
So does the latest version support older galleries ?
I believe I have over 3 thousands galleries, and don’t want to change by hand.
HostGator Kris saying it’s not them.
But the problem came out of nowhere
I didn’t make changes. I only found the problem when I did make a change.
You have no idea how appreciative I am for any help.
Thank you.
Truly appreciated.
I didn’t think I broke anything.
Just hoping suffering has some insight.
But at least you’ve given me something.
I’ve removed the .htaccess file.
Then if goto a previous page, clicking the link at the bottom of the WordPrss page, the site 404s.
Thank you.
Yes I forgot to mention the theme some times doesn’t load.
I’ve called HostGator, buy they’ve said it’s not on their end.
They said they’ll be changing php versions.
Could that be the issue ?
Truly appreciate your time.
P.S.
I’ve turned off all plugins, tried default theme.
