Thanks for the quick response, Joe, and my apologies for being unclear on what I was asking.
I was able to obtain the day of week through the Primary Date Format setting.
For my 2nd question, here’s a screen shot to clarify what I was asking:

Basically, I don’t want the month and year to be listed as dropdown boxes; instead I would like them to just be output as text that I can style at the top of the main calendar. How would I do that? Thanks again for your help & cheers.
