I should clarify what I’m seeking to do. I’d like the Post Footer to say:
“This post “Post Name” (linked to the original post) first appeared on “Site Name” (linked to the site on which the post originally appeared).”
What HTML should I add in the Post Footer field to automatically accomplish this for syndicated posts?

I figured this out. Plugin called Custom 404 Pro was causing the creation of log posts. Deleted the plugin and the errors went away.
Very strange. All of the resources the editor is attempting to access have the double-URL. Can you think of any reason that would be the case and whether it is possible to correct it without re-cloning?
