This is my first time with wordpress I am very impressed with previous versions but I am not happy.
Anyone have any idea about how long this could take till we have a resolution – is there somewhere else we should be posting 2.7 problems… Will investigate

In reply to: wp 2.7 error: Failed to connect to FTP Server http://Me too, it does all of the above, I have spent a while making sure that my login details were correct. SO for now, we cannot install any plugins
I downloaded 2.7 from the front page two days ago. Here is my error:
Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.
