Must have been human (me) error
(I had copied both of these codes into a single text document for easy access. I suspect that whenever I was grabbing the CSS code from this doc., I was copying the plugin-style-disabling line IN ADDITION TO the CSS code)Thanks again.

In reply to: [Genesis Columns Advanced] Columns not appearing side-by-side on mobileUpdate: I’ve noticed this fix doesn’t work with all themes, but it works with some of them. For example, of the wordpress “twenty” themes it works with 2010,2011,2012 and 2013 but not with any 2014,2015,2016 or 2017. For some of those themes (like 2017), this fix here even causes the columns to collapse into one on a non-mobile screen (without this fix, this column plugin worked fine on 2017). It’s not a big deal because I can just stick with what works, but I figured I’d let you know.
