The workaround mentioned at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/download-problem-10/ is almost 2 years old and does not work anymore.

@tammullen mentions that this a lower priority issue but to me it is not, it is a deal-breaker. I cannot use Woocommerce in its apparent broken state.

This issue has been unaddressed for at least 23 months but probably much longer.

Unfortunately, I have no choice but to look for another eCommerce plugin.

Having spent many days building my store only to find that it does not work is morale destroying.
