In reply to: [When Last Login] Multisite – Everyone is “Never”Ah! That could be it. I use WMPUDev’s Branda plugin to customize the login page. Can’t imagine they change too much, but maybe?

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Cloudflare 3.8.1 ErrorWordPress’ new “recovery mode” allowed me to login and update the plugin.
With WordPress’ new auto-update feature, this must have brought down thousands of sites! I hope they all find their way back online.
Hoping for good news – has this been resolved?

In reply to: [Cloudflare Stream Video] Support for WPMU?Two things:
- It’s a pretty generic error message.
- There IS NO “Cloudflare Stream” link under the Settings menu. Guessing this has to do with the multisite incompatibility.
If you publish a plugin for WordPress, you will find people asking for multisite compatibility early and often. 🙂

In reply to: [Postie] Trouble with usageJust following up here. You suggested that I needed to put :start and :end in the corresponding fields on the settings page, but your documentation specifically says that :start and :end are the default behavior. I’m not sure which is true.
When I added them manually, the problem remained anyway. I’ve double-checked, and everything was on separate lines in the email, as you also mentioned.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Postie] Trouble with usageThanks for your reply! I reformatted slightly and checked my Gmail sent folder, and the most recent email looked exactly like this (note the line breaks):
tags: to,Favorites - Work :excerptstart Comic Sans is dead to us. :excerptend :start #img1# Comic Sans is dead to us. https://www.brafton.com/blog/email-marketing/best-font-for-email-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/ :end…with an attached photo.
The resulting post was titled correctly (from the subject line), but contained ONLY the photo and had one single tag:
Favorites - Work :start #img1# Comic Sans is dead to us. https://www.brafton.com/blog/email-marketing/best-font-for-email-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/ :endAny ideas?

In reply to: [Export and Import Users and Customers] Does this plugin email users?I don’t see that option to enable/disable email in the free version.
In the free version, does it send an email or not? Thanks!
Thanks for your reply!

In reply to: [Embedly] Embedly shows in editor, not in published postWas this ever resolved? I’m seeing the same behavior on my site.

In reply to: [Embedly] After Deactivation, Embedly Still Embedding! That makes some sense, but I’m guessing that the embed system is still invisible? In other words, if I put in a text URL, Embedly converts it into the embed code SOMEWHERE, but not in the post, where it remains a text URL. In other words, there’s no way to turn off the embed after deactivating the plugin, short of deleting the URL from the post entirely.
Honestly, I’m not so frustrated with inability to turn previous embeds off as much as I am 1) the lack of information as to why I can’t or how the whole system works, 2) the inability to apply embeds to already-published posts, and 3) the general lack of user-friendliness to non-developer WordPress users who want Facebook-esque embed functionality in a plugin solution that is as turn-key as Disqus.
Not telling you how to run or monetize your business, of course; just explaining what I’m looking for as a willing-to-pay-for-the-right-solution consumer. 🙂

In reply to: [Embedly] After Deactivation, Embedly Still Embedding!Exactly. I still haven’t figured it out. I wish Embedly was as simple to use as Disqus:
1) I could set up one Embedly account and use it for multiple websites.
2) When activated, it simply turned single-line text URLs into beautiful embeds.
3) When deactivated, embeds reverted to single-line text URLs.The current implementation is bizarre and difficult, and they’re clearly geared toward developers, which I am not. I’m not sure what your business model is, Embedly, but please note that I’ve been watching people search – for years and years – for a *SIMPLE* plugin that simply gives them functionality similar to Facebook link styling. Period. Dot. Please be that solution. 🙂
