In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] RSVP button does not workThis issue has been verified by the good people at the events calendar .com. For some installations, if the tickets block is empty, the RSVP button has no action. The workaround is to remove the Tickets block when editing the event. They are working on a fix.
This ticket is resolvedDifferent symptoms so I am not sure it is the same.
A solution “suggested” for my issue:
If you database is type MyISAM convert it to InnoDB.
If your site is using PHP 8.4 downgrade to 8.2 or 8.3 (Event Tickets is not compatible with 8.4 yet)
I have not tried the proposed solution. And, I have no idea if this is your issue.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Duplicate queriesI know you would rather I open a new support ticket and I DID DO THAT.
Two of my websites crashed Friday when Event Tickets was upgraded to 5.27.0. The site was limping along on the previous revision (Running very slow probably due to the snippet running often – because the basic cause of our issues has not been fixed).
My ISP had to recover (removed the wp_shepard_tec_tasks and other changes.)
We may have the same issue with the wp_shepherd_tec_tasks table. It was also using MyISAM. My ISP just changed all my tables to
InnoDBengine and that “?may?” have solved the issue. I will not activate Event Tickets again regardless of the revision because I cannot suffer another crash of the websites.HOWEVER, After sending multiple emails with error details, database errors, Etc. that were involved in the crashes I have YET to hear back if the issue is solved with the table engine change.
If that is the cause we just need a reply that will solve the issue.
Or, another possibility? Some website developers (like me) may have stopped using the Tickets Pro without deleting and then installing the free version of Event Tickets. All the old tables for the pro version still exist.
Can we get some resolution THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR OTHER WEBSITES

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Another Fatal error Same Issue as OthersPlease do not close the thread. Actually the error returned on our active account even after I created the snippet in both accounts. The snippet did not remove the records And since the site crashes I have to deactivate the Event Tickets on the server to get it working and users are locked out until I get that done. A real pain. So as of now we have not RSVPs or tickets sales.
And, I am not convinced this will not be an issue later. Why?
Looking in the database for both accounts (our current live account and the to-be-soon new account) both have several HUNDRED THOUSAND records in the table wp_shepherd_tec_tasks. 199,714 to be more precise. And both sites are running very slow even with Event Tickets deactivated..
I need to know if it is OK to remove most or all of the records in that table. We don’t care about past tickets or events, just need to clean up the data base. I can do with a query command, but do not want to do that without your agreement it will not crash the site forever.
Can I remove ALL records?
If not, which records should I keep?
Or, is there a better way to get this cleaned up. Remove both plugins, Etc.? Just delete the table?
Finally if I get the records removed, do the current revisions of Event Calendar and Event Tickets still have the bug or is the bug resolved?
Please keep this ticket open until this is resolved completely including cleaning the records from the shepherd_tec_tasks table

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Another Fatal error Same Issue as OthersWe were in the process of moving the website anyway. After we copied the site to the new ISP, the error no longer happens. I have not checked the old site.
Should I apply the code snippet anyway or has the bug been fixed?
Sorry I did not respond, been a little busy

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Show Expiry-Date in Protected page gives errorThank you for taking the time to test this.
You are correct. Updating the two Add-ons fixed the issue. Site is on all the current versions as per your reply.
I had not realized (or forgot) that some add-ons do not update automatically.
Thanks for checking that out.. could you check out this one also
Critical Error when adding image with WordPress File Upload Pro by dspanogle about 6 days ago. Error in NextGen Galleries

Temporary Solution until the bugs are fixed!
Downgrade the NextGEN Gallery Plug In to rev 3.41. This action suggested by creator of WordPress File Upload Pro Version. Thank you for that.
Next step is for a fix from NextGEN Gallery. Would be nice if someone at NextGEN recognized this post and did something about it.
Thank you for the video suggestions and trouble shooting tips.
Turns out I cannot repeat this issue with any new Events. The issue only happens with one specific Event which will be too hard to diagnose. Could have been the cache or cookies or who knows.
So, I will mark this as solved and see if the issue repeats with Events in the future.
Thanks Kim,
I created view query using an inner join. Then I used that view to create the table to use for the list. Three steps I just did not know where to start. Now I have that done.

Not sure how it all works in WP. Sorry if you already know all of this.
I just installed and found the same issue. Thanks for getting this fixed. Not sure how you will go about this but some places a Shift Enter or Control Enter will enter a break (br) or a new paragraph <p>
Those tags work for now so we will wait without holding our breath
Thanks for doing this plug in. Just what we needed.I am going to assume that Blue Host wants their plug-in to behave that way so I will just leave it deactivated. Does not add anything after initial setup.
