  • Hi,

    I’m trying to achieve the same thing as the first poster, but tried mixmastermichael’s method to no avail. Perhaps I wasn’t putting it into the correct place in the css editor?

    I went to style.css in the theme editor, and dropped in

    .entry-meta {
    padding: 1.5% 2.9%;
    background: #FCFCFC;
    border-top: #F3F3F3 1px solid;
    color: #CCC;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: 300;
    display: none;
    }

    in a few different places in the file. None had any effect, so I’ve removed it now.

    Could anyone point me in the right direction, please?

    thanks

    Hi, it really does look good.

    I wonder if you might be able to help in getting it to work for me. It’s installed correctly, and activated… but I can’t seem to create a manual backup. My site is very small, and wouldn’t be worthy of a subscription to the mycodetree.com automatic backup.

    In any case, I go to settings, and there is a button there that says ‘manual backup’. From the Screeeshots, I was expecting to see a tickbox there, which I would check and then click ‘save changes’, but in any case there is just a button there. I press it…. the plugin page reloads and I go to try and download my backup.

    But the link just points to my home page, and even though it says “(The database backup is located in the archive in /wp-content/plugins/the-codetree-backup/)” underneath, there aren’t any new files in there.

    Any idea what could be wrong? All advice appreciated!

    I’m having this problem and I’ve checked the wp-content/uploads setting and it seems correct… is there anything else at play here?

    thanks

    Thanks for the tip.

    In my case – it didn’t work. I am still getting the error with my new install and can’t upload images in posts (my workaround is to use FTP)

    I’m an amateur when it comes to this, but it is clear that I shouldn’t set permissions to 777. I tried setting them to 766, and I still get that error.

    Is there something else that I could adjust to get rid of this error?

    thanks

    This seems to be working fine again now, no problems for the past month or so, other than those few days when it was broken. I think in future I will wait a month or so after a wordpress upgrade before I update.

    Continued thanks to the SCM guy – Adrian – for providing such a quality product!

    We’re using it on our website for the electro rock group Skuzzi Port

    SCM is working fine again, perhaps there was just a problem on the SCM server. (even though the code is on your wordpress site, and the music hosted anywhere, I gather that it needs to communicate with the mothership, probably to get the flash that makes the player)

    It’s really a great plugin, try it out folks!

    Is there a solution to this problem?

    I was using the SCM player and it was working wonderfully, until I updated wordpress to 2.8.1 and now it’s stopped working 🙁

    I really liked this music player, but recently upgraded to 2.8 and it’s stopped working. I’m not sure why, there doesn’t appear to be any changes to the header.php file in the theme – can anyone advise me how to fix it up, please?
