That’s crystal clear, appreciate you. It’s fantastic you don’t have to concatenate the full domain in the salesforce field and stick to just post_name. Cheers Jon!
Hi Jon,
This is something I plan to do eventually with my SF configuration. Would you be able to provide some steps about how you set up the field in SF and how you set up the sync in the plugin? Appreciate your help.

In reply to: Can’t Select DatabaseAnd that did the trick…thank you very much for your help.
Now my question is…who in the hell went and changed the wp_config database credentials? It was an entirely different database name, username, password, and the host was an IP address (not localhost). Someone obviously changed it…I figure my hosting is somehow compromised and a hacker got in.

In reply to: Can’t Select DatabaseThis is the current setting:
`
/**
* WordPress Database Table prefix.
*
* You can have multiple installations in one database if you give each
* a unique prefix. Only numbers, letters, and underscores please!
*/
$table_prefix = ‘wp’;/**
All my mySQL database entries begin with that, I guess, such as…
wp_commentmeta
wp_comments
wp_failed_jobsetc..

In reply to: Can’t Select DatabaseI haven’t changed anything as of recently. I checked my wp_config file and I can see that the database credentials have changed…I never touch those files.

My sincerest apologies for my behavior in the previous post. I must have been seeing red that day since my site was also broken from the update…I honestly don’t even remember posting that to you.
I hope there are no hard feelings and your issue has been resolved. For me, I was having problems with the Gravatar settings, so I disabled avatars and a lot of the issues I was having went away. Still, it was nerve wrecking to go through all that and get no resolution.
It’s more than apparent they did not test the update well, there’s a mountain of issues that stem from v2.0 update.
I am looking for an alternative as well, I’ll subscribe to this review in case someone suggests something better.
6 days and no response, really awesome support!!
JUST ROLL IT BACK TO THE VERSION BEFORE 2.0!!! HOW HARD IS THAT???
I’ve been working with their support off their site and they are just completely incompetent and is unable to provide solutions. The problem is, they’ve opened a can of worms with this latest update. IF IT ISN’T BROKEN, WHY TRY TO ‘FIX’ OR ‘UPGRADE?’ These issues are a result of bad code, plain and simple. These fucking idiots and their goddamn incompetent developers are so irresponsible to roll out such a poorly scripted upgrade. I tried rolling back the plugin to a previous version…nope, just managed to break user profiles. I am very close to pursuing legal action against UM as they’ve single-handedly wrecked months of hard work and strong praises from my client only to get a call that their site is now chock full of issues!! FUCK YOU UM!!!
