OK I sorted this one out. The post kinds plugin is the culprit. It always makes new posts made via API into an “article” instead of a “note”. Seems like the only fix is to remove it.
I’m going to chalk this one up to different instances and how they’re finding things. It does look like mastodon.lol eventually started listing me. linuxrocks.online hasn’t but I don’t think that’s anything on my end.
