alright scratch deleting it completely, i’ve decided i want to just put different content in the sidebar. but i’m a moron and i went ahead and deleted as much sidebar code as i can find. all i need now is to be able to bring the sidebar back to permanently sit when different pages are shown. it lives on the front page, but not on any of the others …
i don’t know if this will help, but did you try this:
-write> pages> (whichever page you do not want “comment” on)
-click on sidebar drop down menu: “discussion”
-uncheck “allow comments”
