I read those but to no avail. I guess the hosting company (simply.com) might be the culprit for this error. However, using Duplicator plugin instead solved my issues.

Nevermind, went with Duplicator instead.
At least consider making the FTP option free to avoid users jumping to competitors.

I should note i didn’t have this issues with earlier versions of the plugin
