I had the exact same problem as described by the initiator of this thread after I upgraded to the latest version of WP. Protechs’ advice to change back to my old wp-config.php is exactly what was needed to get rid of all the strange symbols and restore my text. Hey anybody, I can’t find the wp-content/themes/ directory on my server (yahoo). I signed up for WordPress through Yahoo so I assume WordPress is using my Yahoo space but I can’t find that folder anywhere in my files. Am I looking in the right place?
