When I had a similar problem, tecnorati never answered by emails.
It seems like claiming by embedding is the easiest and fastest way to go.
If I want to add their small javascript to my homepage template with wordpress so I can use the technorati search box, how can I make changes to my homepage template?

In reply to: technorati is unable to spiderI have other sites on technorati which did not have this problem. However, I noticed that they were not being updated as they should have. I sent a notice to support 2 days ago about my WordPress blog, but they failed to respond. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the clarification.
Do you have any suggestions why technorati.com is rejecting the blog? I have not made any significant changes such as plug-ins since I upgraded.

There has been changes with validation.
Feed validator now states index.php and wp-rss2.php both validate, but commentRSS should be commentRss
W3C states index.php is valid but wp-rss2.php is not valid because of DOCTYPE. I am not sure if there is an unacceptable space between characters.
