Sorry, I should have been clearer. It’s not an error. Unlike the Dropbox links to .jpg files, SLB does not attempt to load Dropbox links to .png files. I mentioned this in case it helped with locating the issue.
Further information, I noticed that links to .png files are not being picked up by Simple Lightbox — which is the expected behavior.
Thank you for your quick response, I’ll exclude the URLs that are causing problems and turn Simple Lightbox back on again, which is great as it works really well.
I had this problem, and I don’t know whether my hosting company or the browser caused it, but @goldenbluespiral’s solution (February 8, 2021) worked for me.
I added the code to the functions.php file for my site (it’s a child theme, so it will not get overwritten by updates), and now non-admin users can log in again.
