Hello @reedwanul,
Sorry for just replying now. Updated the plug-in with the file you provided. Quantity seems like it is fixed however [order_subtotal] and [total] are now showing duplicated (i.e. subtotal “$10.00” showing as “$10.0010.00” and total “$10.70” showing as “$10.7010.70”.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Dale Yim

Hi,
Unfortunately I am writing back with more bugs and a clarification of your reply. I checked my template again and the video I linked for you and I indeed used the “[quantity]” shortcode correctly.

In order to actually view the email flows, I create a mock purchase order through my website and it manages to send the emailkit template instead of the default WooCommerce template. I have tried multiple times again, replacing the textbox and shortcode to see if it’s a temporary bug but it has not been solved. I still get “{{Quantity}}” instead of “1” for all templates, “{{site_name}}” instead of “Head to Tail Lights” for New Orders, and “$1.00″>$0.00” and “$1.07″>-$1.07” for [order_subtotal] and [total] instead of “$1.00” and “$1.07” respectively. Maybe the order (sub)total numbers are due to the price being $1 (I will try doing a mock purchase for an item of higher value and update you), but as for the other problems, I’m not certain why they’re occurring.
Another big issue I’ve come across is a very annoying one: when I have two templates open in separate tabs (I need two open because you don’t have a duplicate feature, so I have to recreate the template aesthetics from previous templates) and I hit ‘Save’ on my most recent template, it either rewrites the template I had open and reformats the template I was working on (it is literally blank and I cannot recover my work), or after a refresh after hitting ‘Save’ it will reformat the template to blank without affecting the other (previous) template. This is a big issue because I spend over 30 minutes working on a template and am unable to recover it – it’s happened 3 times now. I make sure I’m not editing anything on the previous template; only copying the margin & padding values; and make sure to close the tab of the previous template before hitting ‘Save’ on the new one; in both instances they still reformat one of the templates.
Let me know what you need from me. I need to solve the issue asap because my site is starting to gain traction in daily orders and I need to have the order flow emails up-and-running.
Thanks,
Dale Yim
Hello. I solved the previous issue by changing the element spacing in the template with trial and error to match how I wanted them to look in the actual email output (i.e. the template looks a little weird in emailkit but the email output is what it should be). I now have another issue where some information is not showing correctly ({{ Quantity }}) and the formatting is off. When I send a test email through email kit it looks how it should, but when I use the ‘send email’ function through ‘WooCommerce > Orders’, it will send the email in the linked video. I have included in the video all the settings and html used in the template formatting.
