Changing the value of “Settings -> Reading -> Blog pages show at most -> XX posts” worked for me.
Although there seems to be an off-by-one-error somewhere, because my homepage always shows one more post than the value of the setting. So if I want to show six posts, I have to set it to five, for example.
I seem to have the same problem. Tested in Chromium and Firefox (on Linux Mint platform). Anyone know of a fix or workaround? Other than making sure none of my pages contain the same words as any of my posts i mean? 🙂
