I have shown it in the video.
However, the video shows a local installation, but it is exactly the same on the web server.
    The IP does not change.
I can log in as an admin or as a user.
Especially if I have a login attempt, I can still log in twice, but the second time I am also excluded. Theoretically, there should be no login window here, but the spears should appear immediately. With 1, however, the spear is active, as it should be.
I hope it is easier to understand in the video.

The login attempt was executed immediately and I did not wait the 15 minutes.
The errors are repeatable at wp-admin, wp-login, close browser, new windows.

    My steps:

    Reinstall WP
    Activate ASE Limit login attempts
New browser (Vivaldi > Firefox > normal + private window)
I enter incorrect user data > ASE logs the IP

    The window appears:
WARNING: You have been locked out. You can log in again in 14 minutes and 44 seconds.
    I reload the login window
    Reload link F5
The login window is visible again.
Failed login attempts will lose within the 15 minutes with correct! access data lose the blocked IP and allow login. The failed login attempts are/will be deleted in the plugin.
PS: I was able to log in again after 10 minutes of being blocked.

The error is possibly due to the lockout transfer “1” and affects the other values.

I have created a PDF with colored indicators for you. I hope it helps you.

I am testing wordpress in the “Docker” environment.
But I have just tested it on my webspace too, it is reproducible.
    Limit: 3
    Enter wrong credentials 3 times
Info window appears: you are logged out for 15 min.
Then I log in with the correct access data and get into the system.
This should not be the case.
Other limiter tools also block the correct access afterwards.
PS: login in a new private window in the browser
