In reply to: Removing adsense from posts@andrew Nevins
Thanks
I wish they had been generated by a plug-in.
If they had been then gone in a couple of clicks.
Which is why I want to delete them and had a plug-in insert them.
It’s possible via search and replace because a friend of mine did it on one of my other sites – http://survivor-story.com/
But I don’t want to lean on him again.
Better for me and others to learn 😉

The above is not one of my sites.
Firefox had much lower level than either Chrome or IE and I’d say that IE was in the middle.

In reply to: Deleting unused jpgsThanks Krishna.
But I don’t want WordPress to create any images for me.
I use different size thumbnails and wrap text around them.
I want to delete all unused jpgs and stop WordPress from creating any.

In reply to: Information stored after uninstallThanks Esmi.
I was pleased and surprised that the plug-in left all the info.
Not sure that I’d like every plug-in to do it.
Do you think it’s common?

In reply to: Is it and adsense or WordPress problem? Thanks.
My google translate plug-in was multiplying the number of ads.
So google wasn’t showing them.
Seems like a google-glitch to me 😉

In reply to: [Sabre] [Plugin: Sabre] The wordpress site is crashedOf course I make mistakes.
We all do.
But this was a pretty major one and I wonder how much it was tested before being released.
I do appreciate all the people that work on plug-ins with little or no reward expected; but bringing down sites?
In fairness, I’m not a programmer so I don’t know how easy it is to check a plugin before releasing it.
But it would seem that this was simply a clash between WordPress and the plug-in and not between the update and other plug-ins.

In reply to: [Sabre] [Plugin: Sabre] The wordpress site is crashedSeems really careless to me.
A message saying, “do you want to update automatically”, you say “yes” and your site goes down.

Removing the plugin via FTP solved the issue.

In reply to: Can't see top of dashboardI am working through the above and the theme is not the problem.
The following is not displayed but this is what it says.
Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/misconce/public_html/ourchangingglobe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-global-screen-options/wp_global_screen_options.php on line 75
Maybe that’s helpful?
