Has anyone found a solution here? I am dealing with the exact same problem. Finished a webstore, everything was working fine, did an update and now my drop down goes back to the default although shows correctly in the cart.
Would like to get this fixed ASAP =)

Having a similar issue. Variations show correctly in cart (i.e. size, adding name or number to a product), but when you try to select different variations on the product page, it doesn’t change. Customer unable to see exactly what size/name/number options they are choosing.
Website goes live tomorrow, hoping someone has a quick solution.
