Actually – the option in the settings on refers to ‘inline’ – so I didnt find any option referring to “minify excluded CSS/JS”

Thanks for getting back to me!
That option was already un-checked and unavailable as it’s part of the HTML section which was unchecked. Here is the full options panel I have.

I had a suspicion that this was the case, just wondering if anyone had an approach. Database dump and import is probably the way.
