Good news — the fix is now live in version 1.7.3. Thanks again for spotting it and pointing us to the exact spot.
ww.wp.xz.cn can take up to about 24 hours to show this new version so if you don’t see the update yet, it should appear shortly tomorrow
If anything still looks off after updating, just reply here and we’ll take care of it. Thanks for your patience!

Hi Sorry for the delay in response,
Do u see the easy mcp connector in the chat. see this https://www.pasteboard.co/16bbeiad9TP5.png ?
Also, what you see in Customize –> Connector –> Dekstop -> Does the wordpress not show any tools and whether you see any error message? see this https://www.pasteboard.co/FmzRnt2medby.png . If there are issue, it might show there. Please let me knowSince your tools/list in the dashboard (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=easy-mcp-ai#available-tools) already shows the tools, the only another filter is the token scope/oauth scope permission. Since those scrope already shown all tools and the log indicates tools are returned, everything seems to be working.
I tried to replicate the issue on my end, but it works fine for me. Have you tried restarting Claude Desktop? On my side, the new local MCP doesn’t show until I restart the Claude code. Let me know.
As an alternative, have you tried using OAuth instead of a token? You can go to Customize → Connector → Custom Connector → Add your URL and any name → Save. Then click Authorize or Connect. Let me know if the issue persists.
Since we have not received any reply for two weeks, we will mark this as resolved. Please respond with details if you still encounter any issues.
Thank you.
Thanks for the details
can u share screenshot/describe of this URL so i can debug whether the tools is not detected by Claude or not exposed by our plguins:
https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=easy-mcp-ai-tokens
https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=easy-mcp-ai#available-tools
Also, can u also share in Claude Desktop –> Customize –> Connector, whether your wordpress MCP shows the tools.
Have u also try using oauth instead of token, You can go to Customize –> COnnector –> Custom Connector–> Add your URL and any name. –> save. then click authorize or connect.
Let me know, i can answer after that.
For your question:
1. Yes, If oauth is supported, Oauth is recommended.
2. So far, we dont detect any issue with tools list on Claude. If there are an issue, it will affect all user but based on our test all tools is works in claude.
3. It should not block all tools except if you add whitelist tools in setting that can block every tools if wrong.
4. No log for tools/list.The image upload from URL feature was already implemented in version 1.7.0. Please try this and let me know.
If you have granular permission in the OAuth/token scope, you may need to edit tools permission from the API & OAuth menu and refresh your AI Client tools.Regarding your request to reduce size and quality, we recommend using ShortPixel plugins. We may implement these tools in the future, allowing you to call them via AI.
Hello,
The “Couldn’t reach the MCP server” error message means Claude cannot access your website URL. This could be due to several reasons:
- You have a rule in Cloudflare that blocks AI bots, certain IP addresses, countries, etc.
- Your hosting provider might have rules that block some AI bots or IP addresses. We found some reports about this on SiteGround.
To resolve this:
- Whitelist Anthropic IP addresses: https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/api/ip-addresses, or disable any AI bot/crawler restrictions on Cloudflare (if you use it) or any related restrictions from your host or Cloudflare.
- Try another AI client, such as Claude Code, which connects from localhost.
Please let me know which hosting provider you use and whether you are using Cloudflare so we can investigate further.
Thank you for the question. In the current version of the plugin, it is not possible to upload images using a URL. We plan to implement this feature in the new release next week.
Thanks for details report. Let me find the root cause, it seems those happen only on some specific server configuration. Can u help me share different setting or server config between those 2 wordpress installation?
In the meantime, you can use 1-click Oauth, use this setting without header in your antigravity setting then click authenticate:{
"mcpServers": {
"wordpress": {
"serverUrl": "https://yoursite.com/wp-json/easy-mcp-ai/v1/mcp"
}
}

OAuth is now supported. You simply provide the URL in Claude or ChatGPT, such as https://[your-site]/wp-json/easy-mcp-ai/v1/mcp, then click connect. No token is needed for supported clients.
OAuth is supported in version 1.4.0 with granular permissions. You can grant access to only specific tool categories, allowing the AI to have approved access without full access to your site.
