Thank you for your response.

1) I checked the console for javascript errors, there were a lot, but mostly about mixed content; https and http.
2) It seems it doesn’t create a new post, so it must be an error before the code creates a new post and redirects to that page to edit it.
3) I turned WordPress debugging on, but only got an error from the plugin Lightbox Plus. I than deativated the lightbox plugin, but the redirect still occured.

I also deactivated the most uncommon plugins (maxgalleria always works with the most popular plugins I use regularly), but still the wrong redirect remained.
Wordpress and all the plugins are all up to date.
