I think there was an issue that occurred when my site auto-updated to WP 4.2.4. I pretty much had to start from scratch and reinstall WP by hand to the previous version, and then reinstalled all my plugins, and now the content of WP-Knowledgebase is showing up again.
Thank you! It is funny that I looked at the order page and only noticed the category order and didn’t scroll down because Safari wasn’t showing a scroll bar…. but once I resized my window I now see it.
Any tips on which CSS file to edit (and what line) to keep the text from being cut off on the right side in single article pages? I’ve tried adjusting a few things in kbe-style.css but nothing is making a change.
My site is on an internal servers, so I can’t post a link. I was going to post a screenshot but I don’t see that you can upload images here.
Thanks
I should mention that I am able to get the custom fields from the Advanced Custom Fields plugin to show up on the admin side when creating new articles, I just can’t get the custom fields to display on the article pages themselves. The ACF support has this info about this problem: http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/faq/value-loading-posts-page/ but I can’t make sense out of it in the knowledgebase php files. 😉
I’d be interested in this as well. I’m using your plugin for a knowledge base of the plants I have in my garden and would like to add custom fields for info on when to plant, spacing and all that. I have Advanced Custom Fields plugin set up and it works fine with regular posts, it would be great to be able to use it with WP Knowledgebase.
Thanks!

In reply to: xmlrpc.php attack on WordPress 3.8I’m getting nowhere trying to block from htaccess or within Wordfence (when I can get to the site). I’ve tried:
<Files xmlrpc.php>
Order allow,deny
Deny from all
</Files>…with no luck. I’m also manually adding a deny from and the offending IP addresses, but that isn’t working either. Sometimes it seemed to have stopped them, but then I see the same IP addresses attacking again.
I have one site that is being attacked on a regular basis… usually monthly but this time it I noticed it last night, thought I fixed it, and now I’ve been trying for hours to stop the attacks from probably a dozen or more IP addresses.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Timeout error on one calendar?Hi Joe,
It looks like the problem is back with the new calendar I created. It keeps getting a timeout error once some entries have been added.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 13888241 bytes) in /../../public_html/wp-content/plugins/my-calendar/my-calendar-output.php on line 1147
The web host bumped up the memory, but something in the calendar script seems to be causing this issue.
I also think the plugin might be slowing down the site overall because when I’ve disabled it, the site loads quickly.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Timeout error on one calendar?Disregard the above question. I had to created a new calendar to resolve the timeout problem with the old one.
Thanks, Budi, that did work for disabling the activation email.
I made that change as you noted, but now I am noticing that it no longer sends an email to the admin to let them know someone signed up and needs to be approved. Do you have any thoughts on how to fix that?
Thanks again,
JimSame issue. It had been working, and I’m not sure when it broke. No support on this?

In reply to: WP Installation Hosted by Cbeyond Config HELP!!Since I just got pinged on this topic, I wanted to mention that I was unable to get anywhere with CBeyond tech support and I convinced my client to move to better hosting.
In version 1.9.1, and in Chrome it is showing the rss feed in HTML. It seems to be displaying okay now in safari and firefox on the mac. Any thoughts?
I just noticed that in the WPTouch plugin interface, it does show that Nextgen Gallery is not yet supported.

In reply to: creating a database on CBeyond hostingThat is definitely my next step, as long as the client is willing to make the move. It is amazing how terrible some of these more expensive hosts are as compared to the cheaper places like GoDaddy, BlueHost, etc.
