Anyone have a solution to this ongoing issue?

In reply to: [Simple Membership] disable options/member level options-how toreply to @mbrsolution:
I did provide an example. It’s for a client, and I’m not sure if she’s using a shopping cart. trying to get more info from her, but her site’s unavailable just now due to an unexpected site transfer she just did…
Anyway, she wants all membership levels to access the same 1000 opportunities which they can apply for. However, each membership level needs to be limited to applying for a certain amount, then have their application access disabled for the rest of the month. ex: lowest level can apply for 3 jobs/opportunities, but can still see the other 997 opportunities. We need their ability to apply for any more after those 3 disabled. Next level might be able to apply for ten gigs, then their access needs auto-disabled so they cannot apply for anymore even though they can still see the remaining 990 gigs there.
Can we disable their ability to apply for gigs- set a limit on applications for gigs per membership level using your plugins listed in my O.P.?? If so, how? If not, what do you recommend doing instead?
Wonder if that could cause problems on php 5.5 also?
email not working for me at all despite having the email address matching the wp domain name in the sender email field.
I like the look and feel of your plugin, and want to use this for contact messages, so please advise right away, so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel and recreate forms using another plugin.

In reply to: White screen of death after ugrading to wp 4.6Thanks, Jacob. Corienb, I had the host restore a recent backup. Then, I made another backup of that restored one. Then, I re-ran the WP update and it finally worked.

I’m having my host restore from a recent backup for me, thankfully, but I’d still like to know for furutre reference. thx.
p.s. if they succeed in the restore, I’ll mark this as resolved. if not, I’ll need to continue troubleshooting.

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] Theme showing Full Post not Summaryabhik21, your link goes to a page not found page. Can you please re-share the code link?
Well, you’ve switched themes, so I’m assuming you no longer need this answer??

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] accessing Twenty sixteen admin backendUsually when I’ve had this happen, it’s due to either a theme issue, or a plugin issue. Since you’ve mentioned renaming child theme, it’s clearly theme-related, but it’s been a month since you posted, and you probably figured that much on your own.
Here’s what I’d do:
– backup your content,
– use your workaround to access the dashboard.
– take screenshots of any custom CSS and theme confitguration settings.
– make a list of all of the current files in your child theme- like if you’ve added more than just functions and style, etc.
– using cPanel, or FTP, download copies of your current child theme files for reference.– then uninstall your child theme
– make sure everything’s working in terms of accessing the dashboard. don’t just assume it will, ’cause it has been. test it to prove it is.
– Then redo the child theme from scratch, like it’s the first time, using only the two basic child theme files.
– Activate the new child theme.
– Try signing in.If it worked, you’re golden. If not, you could disable all plugins then try accessing the dashboard. Or course, you could try that first. π

In reply to: [Twenty Sixteen] How display avatar in homepage postHi,
I’m assuming you have your blog on your homepage, yes?? Avatars seem to only appear on individual posts, not on the main blog page. I’d love to know how to get them to appear on the main blog page, too.
