I too have the same issue. It connects to the database some time and other it does not. I did some research and this is the reply from my host:
“This issue is the result of a miss-configuration in WordPress. The issue is related to problem with WordPress not understanding the If-Modified-Since tag. Unfortunately because this is a 3rd party script we cannot help you correct the issue”.
If you go to the blog it seems to be running fine until you move around a few times back and forth and clicking on the links. Eventually it poops out.
