Same behavior, 500 error triggered on submission, the application does end up going through but no confirmation email goes out so users are just resubmitting on repeat.Hi Farhan,

Ah that makes much more sense, thank you for the clarification on my misunderstanding of the function’s intent.
I have gone to a non-working download, updated it, and now it says no file paths detected and the URL has disappeared from the Versions meta box.

That’s a very helpful explanation, thank you. I didn’t expect that, I assumed that files with download links would available to someone so I didn’t predict that use case. Why would downloads be unavailable even to admins and only accessible via FTP?
I have added a new test pdf to the media library, added that as a download, added the download button block to a test protected page, and tried that. It seems to be working fine. I have included screenshots below of what I believe you’re asking for and the “DLM Dashboard” I referenced previously which is the all downloads tab of the plugin.

Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/kONYnHbIn reference to the “DLM Dashboard” it’s not that the files don’t show up, there are hundreds of files that show as protected in the media library but only 12 show up as protected if you filter by protected content in the All Downloads tab of Document Monitor.

I downgraded to 4.7.77 but the issue persists. For additional context – here are some screenshots of the buttons on content in the media library.
https://imgur.com/a/VjwOdlZIt could be user error (if they’ve clicked the buttons) but the fact that these protected files don’t show up in the DLM dashboard and there is no way to undo their protection is the problem.
Please let me know if there’s any more details I can provide that would help with a resolution.

They have Download Monitor on auto-update so it would have updated from the previous version 4.7.77.
