Yeah, I just found this as well. What a complete joke. So disappointed I wasted so much time trying to get this plugin to work.
Thanks, I’ll try OceanWP and see how that goes.

In reply to: [Uptime Robot Plugin for Wordpress] Addon breaks websiteFixed. Thanks.
Turns out for me it was conflicting plugins. iThemes was trying to handle HTTPS also. Have now left it all up to one, and it’s disabled everywhere else.
Did you ever get this to work? I am having the same problem. HTTPs via PMPro works, but via WordPress HTTPS does not, so it has to be the plugin.
Funnily enough, mine worked until I updated with the SSL chain (in the site control panel) now regardless of whether it’s checked as HTTPS in the page editor, it just redirects to HTTP with wild abandon – no errors or anything.
Have tried restarting apache, uninstalling and reinstalling the HTTPS plugin, and disabling HTTPS via PMPro in case there was a conflict (has worked prior to the certificate update, so I’m sure it’s not that).
Anyway, anything you did to fix it would be helpful, I’m tearing my hair out!
