Thank you Darren. You posted an excellent solution and it helped greatly. Hopefully my little hack also helps anyone who experiences a similar issue. Although I doubt many will since it turned out that the problems I was having with ALM turned were due to nothing that was ALM’s fault. Godaddy, in all its infinite wisdom, decided to migrate my client’s websites to a new server but didn’t bother to check for the proper permission settings, nor, and this is the one that screams “imbeciles” to me, check to make sure they didn’t screw up the DNS records, which of course they did.

Thankfully, my flu had subsided enough for me to see the giant idiotic mistakes that Godaddy made and I corrected their errors. Things fell back into place properly once the DNS records propagated.

As for ALM, I can’t yell loud enough on how great that plugin is and how well Darren supports it. The pro version of the plugin is a must have when it comes to loading custom templates for post types.

I just finished testing the New API and it didn’t fix the issue.

I chatted with Constant Contact about this and they too admitted it was a problem with their API.

You’d think a company who relies so heavily on email and forms for its business would think about the use of custom fields, but apparently not…

I’ll be testing the new API later today and tomorrow and I’ll let you all know if it fixes the situation.
