In reply to: [Multiple content blocks] Content Blocks have turned into custom fieldsI thought I already explained this, but will do it again for clarity. I originally got the “wp_remote_get” error. Then when I updated the plugin, that error disappeared, as did the entire plugin MCB boxes from the back end. I had to revert to a much earlier version to get the plugin boxes to reappear on the back end pages – and the content boxes themselves reappeared on the front end, but without the content in them. On the back end, I can see all of the content, but it has been moved to custom fields. The issue now is how do I get that content back into the MCB fields?
I am currently at the reverted version, not the updated version.

Having updated the plugin, almost all of my website content disappeared because I used MCB throughout my very large website. The plugin disappeared from my backend Pages as well.
So, I reverted to an earlier version of the plugin, which has made the MCB reappear — however all of my content which was in the MCB have moved to Custom Fields, along with the MCB-prefix, but the MCB fields the plugin provides are empty. I have over 50 pages of content, each with about 10 different content blocks… What can I do to get my content back into the content blocks where they belong without manually cut and pasting? This would take me several weeks of work to fix if that is my only option.
Please HELP!!!!!

I’m on 2.5.1 — Your plugin notes say 2.5 or above, so I figured 2.5.1 was ‘above’, therefore ok?

2) I understand what you said regarding the redundancy of labels. However, this assumes that the column labels are lining up with the fields. Which, in my case at least, are not… which makes it actually kind of confusing. For instance: on the Manage:Posts page — if I double click a row, the table expands to accomodate the ‘Manageable’ fields. The table’s header (where the column labels live) expands to the right and actually overshoots the div #wphead by about 80px or so. In doing this, the columns are completely out of line with the fields… the fields so that the column “Categories” aligns with the “Tags” field… oh snap! As I’m typing this, I realize that this specific issue is related to another plugin that adds the Post/Page ID column back into WP 2.5. Soooooo…. nevermind on this…. although, it would be super cool to make your plugin work with this other one.
3) Something else happened last night and I am not sure if it is related to your plugin or not. But it did happen while using it. 1st — I rolled back your plugin to 0.9.6 to avoid the “private” issue. Then I began editing pages using the plugin from the Manage:Pages page. I was changing “parent” pages. After I had changed some 25 pages, I went to my site and refreshed to see the changes… and found that all the pages I had changed been converted to posts! I had to go into MySql to change them all back.
