Issue resolved. I post here to share: in the Suffusion theme options, Other Graphica Elements, Main Navigation Bar, scroll down and you will see a list of pages of your website under the title “Select pages to include/exclude in Navigation Bar”. I had two pages excluded, while 3 pages were marked as “Private” in the WordPress admin area. I unchecked Private from those 3 pages. The issue persisted. When I excluded (unselected) the three pages (I had unselected only two) at the Suffusion menu above, the issue disappeared.
