Thanks very much for taking the time to explain this to me.
I performed the switch yesterday and zero problems occurred – WordPress continues to really impress me 🙂
Anyone…?
I can’t have the syntax correct.
It seems to be redirecting sub-pages, but not the home page.
What’s the syntax for redirecting everything – home page, and sub pages – from one domain to another?
Thanks again in anticipation of your help.

In reply to: Please help: each word in "Comments" appearing on a separate line!I’ve managed to fix it by moving the Comments to the bottom of the page, rather than having them at the side.
That’s probably a more appropriate place for them, anyway.

In reply to: Please advise me on my blog's "architecture"Ok, so I’ve worked out how to add comments to the pages (by adding some code to the page.php template in the theme), so that’s one problem solved.
But I’m still a little concerned all my content isn’t organised ‘the right way’, as described above…?

In reply to: Best way to make my WordPress post page my site's index page? Thanks for your advice and kind offer.
I’ll have a go at it (learning by doing 🙂 and let you know if I run into any hurdles.
One question: if I use the ‘export’ function in WordPress, I’ll have a re-installable copy of my blog, right…? (The function doesn’t mention the database, but then, if I import the XML file, it will recreate the data base anyway, won’t it?)
Many Thanks.
