I realise that this isn’t necessarily a good reason. However, I was basing it off a similar request (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/how-to-delete-topic-on-this-forum?replies=15), where this was done.
It’s only one thread that I wanted removed. A solution wasn’t provided anyway, so it wouldn’t be removing anything useful. The thread is here.
