    Hi Barry,

Thanks for your response and the refund. I don’t know what happened either with the emails triggering something in your system. I blame this one on technology. We all assume our emails reach their destination but the truth is, sometimes they end up in an unknown folder somewhere in the digital universe.

Either way, I appreciate you speedy response once you realized what happened.

    Regards,

    Gio

    Hi

Yes, that was what I had it set to “header as toggle”

Is there an option to have the desktop and mobile header to have their own settings. Meaning, desktop opens with header as toggle and mobile opens with a toggle button?

    I have a Studiopress theme.

    Hi

Yes, that worked. There’s no problem when I use the plugin you recommended. That’s strange. The problem is fixed. Thank-you for the help. I appreciate it.

    Hi

I managed to simplify the css so the CLS is under .1. One more thing to fix:

One problem is the size of the search bar always flickers on page load because it always goes from the default size to the new size of 330px.

How do I set the size to stay at 330px and stop this change from the smaller size search to the larger search bar?

    Thanks

    Hi

Yes, I wrote in my original question that there was a problem with the custom CSS I added.

What I would like to know is what CSS can I add to make the search bar 330 pixels wide and 40 pixels high?

    I will remove this code.

The problem with Ivory Search is you don’t have any settings for basic customizing of the size and placement. I don’t know how to code CSS and many people do not. I would be happy to pay for the Pro version if you provided the ability to customize the search bar.

The search bar is too small by default. It would be great if you can share the proper CSS so I can change the size and height (330px x 40px H).

    Thank you,
    Gio

    Hi

The Ivory Search bar was hidden but I have made it visible for you to look at.

I replied to the email with your message but I don’t know if you saw it as I have not seen a follow up email.

Either way, the search bar is now visible for you to look.

    Thanks in advance.

    (@elysianwolf)

Also, how do I make the search visible (fade in) after the page loads? Another option is to simply keep the ivory search bar hidden until the page is loaded, or delay it by a period of time, like 10 seconds, and then have it fade in.

What’s the code to do this?

    thanks

    Hi,

Yes, I reverted it back to just before I updated JetPack. The debug information below is the current state and this was the current state before I updated JetPack. I reverted back because of the error message regarding JetPack. Yes, everything might appear fine but I don’t know if it’s affecting the site behind the scenes. How do I know the errors are irrelevant? I’ve never had this issue before.

//Current Debug Info — If I update Jetpack, I will get the same error message I shared\\

After I posted this i reverted the site back to the previous version without the updatesbas noted in my initial post.

Are you basing your response that it looks great on having looked at my actual site or the error report of Jetpack and debug info?

The site you looked at was my site with no errors from Jetpack.

I didn’t see anything visibly wrong with my site after updating Jetpack but i received an email stating the error I posted here.

Sorry for any confusion. Does this make sense?

Do i need to upgrade again so you can see the site with the error?

    Hi,

Would you be able to look at my site to solve this mystery from Amazon:
    ———————-
Hello again from the Associates Program.

Thank you for sending us the information about the traffic you are sending to Amazon. As we stated previously, we have again confirmed that you are automatically tagging customer sessions without the user generating a click to Amazon.com. An example of this behavior can be found at this link:
    —————
I will happily pay you if you can find this issue. I’m desperate to resolve this issue asap.

    my site is: http://www.chainsawjournal.com

    Thanks,

Ha ha. I can live with that — just don’t mess with my settings 😉

    Another question,

If I delete the Yoast SEO plugin (3.03), and then install the older plugin (2.35) do i lose my settings?

    Thanks in advance.
