OK – I was able to verify that yes the plugin was installed at all levels of the multi-site installation so fixed this and I no longer have the issue with login appearing for other sites.

I still have an issue when I have a subscriber that may also have another role for administration of WP on our site. This makes for a more complicated training process so I would ultimately prefer the administration of my membership site to be different from my back end WP content management user administration. But this doesn’t’ appear possible. Thanks for your help.

    Regarding

Do you want to redirect all new members to a particular membership page? If you then please read the following documentation.

In regards to your e-mail question please read the following documentation.

I have read and figured that out. So that is no longer an issue. Thank you.

Hi – yes let me clarify as it is sometimes difficult to explain.

When someone is registered to access the members only area of my website they are automatically given also a WP User status. I do not want them to have WP user status, nor do I want them to see the things that come along with a WP User like admin toolbar, etc. I’ve disabled the toolbar from appearing on my membership site, but if they go to another site within my multi site install the admin bar appears for them on that site. I believe this occurs because they are WP users, which I’d like to avoid. Does that make more sense?

Is there a way to enable them to have access to the members only area, but not get WP User status?
