In reply to: [Longevity] Longevity layout problemsThank you for Your great follow up!
I have updated the theme and now it works so much better and I love the design π Have a look if you want at http://www.sjelefred.comThere might be some bugs (just informing you in case you wish to improve later on). The menu sits nicely centred over the banner image as long as I choose one of the “boxed” layout options. If I choose “full width” the menu goes back to the right side of the screen.
The widgets are nicely listed on the right side as desire so that works great as well. A simple design tips that might make the theme even more clean and stylish is to adjust the left and right margins. At the moment these margins seems to have a fixed size, and it looks great on small screens but a bit cramped on larger screens. Defining the left and right margins (distance from the box edge and the text) by percentage instead would make it look great in all sizes. This is just a minor detail but I believe it would lift the design πThanks again for your great work, it is largely appreciated π

In reply to: [Longevity] Longevity layout problemsHi again π
I found out how to put an image in the banner to keep a fixed large banner header image, but even if I don’t add a logo the menu comes on the right side on large screens. I understand that’s how you have designed the theme, but for me the beauty of the theme was the simple menu in symetry with the large banner image.
Any chance you can add an option to keep the menu centred on the page (not going to the right side) ..at least when no logo is added?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Longevity] Longevity layout problemsI understand.
Well, if you figure a way to make the sensei plugin fit in then you you know that’s my wish at least π
Thank you for your help.
Looking forward to the update.
Merry Christmas πForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Longevity] Longevity layout problemsGreat thank you so much.
I agree.. it would look much better if the widgets remains on the side for 600px wide screens and possible lower.I am not in a hurry. It’s way more important to find something that Works and looks good. I love this theme because it is clean, simple, has a lot of flexibility on the colors and most of all the nice soft fonts. I’ve searched a lot and not many themes have that! So that’s my feedback.
If you can do something to make the Sensei (woothemes) online courses fit better with the theme as well (give it some Space so that the videos etc are not being squeezed out to the right…) then I would be happy to give a little donation π

In reply to: [Longevity] Longevity layout problemsMy screen resolution is 1024×600 … I tried to make it higher but it’s a eeePC so the only higher option 1024×750 or something and that makes everything look weird (out of shape).
Thank you so much for Your help πForum: Themes and Templates
