I wasn’t using First Purchase, I was using Order Completed – I couldn’t initially find a Purchase this Product trigger but I did find that there is a Customer Buys From This Category trigger. I set one up like that and it produces the same errors in the logs (same as before, repasted again:)

This is with an existing customer or a new customer checking out for the first time with a fresh email address. I have since found that other trigger but the categories is what we are after as there are too many items to add individually.

I changed it to system cron and added the necessary line to the crontab and the behaviour of the automations did not change, then I changed it to Action Scheduler with the same result.
No errors were shown on the System Status screen.
Thanks.
It is Active and the categories are ones being purchased.
I have not previously tried any other automations. I have just created an additional automation which triggers on order completion and sends me an email, but this is not triggering either as I have just checked out an order and no email was received.
The logs only seem to show the same errors as the first automation produced (which is still active); nothing additional.

I have tried the premium support but since the email address which purchased the plugin is not mine the delay in getting the responses forwarded to me in a different timezone made the process a lot slower than it needed to be!

Mailpoet has been sending out newsletters without drama and the emails are sent/received fine.
No emails have been sent, the flows aren’t triggering on order completion.
We bought this plugin to send information out with specific products as a transactional email which would go out completely independently of whether or not people wanted to subscribe to newsletters etc. – when you describe the user as a subscriber, are you specifically meaning that they have to subscribe to receive a transactional email or is that a general descriptor?
The analytics screen for this automation:

Hundreds of qualifying orders have gone through the site after it was set up and the flow does not appear to be triggering for any of them.
Thanks for the response!
Here are some screenshots of the automation (which is active). Please let me know if there are any more which would be useful. The categories are redacted as you can see – the first one is the parent category of the other product categories in the trigger filter, in case that’s relevant. I added the parent in case someone adds a new product and doesn’t set the categories correctly, and since it’s an “any” filter I figured that should be no problem for the automation.

Opt in on checkout is enabled/ticked in Settings.
OK. They’re marked as “unsubscribed” in the Woocommerce Users list.
I just made a new account with a fresh email address and submitted an order on the site without manually unsubscribing from anything (or touching anything other than adding the product to the cart and paying) and that new account still came up as “unsubscribed” and the email did not send, with the same error in the logs about the customer not being found as a Woocommerce subscriber.
Thanks for the response! That particular customer says Status -> Unconfirmed.
