In reply to: [Make] Disable Site Plugin not workingHi there,
It’s possible there’s an incompatibility. We can look into it!
There are many other maintenance mode plugins you might try in the meanwhile. 🙂

In reply to: [Make] Buddypress integration?Hi there,
BuddyPress should work just fine with Make. I’m not sure what kind of problem you had when everything broke, but there is a BuddyPress support forum if you’re having difficulty with installation.

In reply to: [Make] Banner image link URL?Hi Alex,
I’ll add that to our feature request wishlist! It’s not a function of Make though currently.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful in this instance!

In reply to: [Make] using header tags to format textHi there!
Yes you can. You’ll find some instructions on using the visual editor here in this tutorial on WordPress.com (it works the same for self-hosted WordPress sites). Look under the section Styles.
Keep in mind there are accessibility reasons to use header tags also. Screen readers use those tags to organize content for visually impaired users, for example. Just something to consider. 🙂

In reply to: [Make] Section Background ColorWe’re working on it, thanks for the suggestion. 🙂
And bkno is correct. You’ll need to use Firebug or something similar to find the Builder section ID#.

Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Make] different logo on bilingual siteHi there,
There’s no way to specify different logos on a per-page basis in Make or Make Plus, unfortunately. You might be able to find a third-party plugin to handle that, but we haven’t tested any with the theme, so I’m sorry to say I don’t have a recommendation.
Best of luck with your project!

In reply to: [Make] Header Container HeightHi Amanda,
Your blog is just delightful! Thank you for sharing the link!
There’s no way to specify a header height except to edit the header files or stylesheet of the theme, unfortunately.

In reply to: [Make] Dropdown Menu not happeningHi there,
Make doesn’t support drop-down menus in the Header Bar menu location, but you can include a drop down menu in the Primary Navigation menu location.
I hope that helps clear that up!

In reply to: [Make] Background pictHi there Michael,
Can I have a different background pict for each page I make?
Unfortunately this is not possible in Make.
I wan’t to place my text freely on a page – on top of bg-pict. How? Using classes…or?
You can add a Banner section to a Page builder template in order to overlay your text on large images.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [Make] Does 'Make' Support Thumbnails?Hi there,
In the Customizer under Layout → Blog (Posts Page) you can add a thumbnail, but it will display under your post title. If you want to change that, you’ll have to edit your theme files in the child-theme.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Make] Formatting paragraphs.Hi there,
Some of these are issues related to the WordPress WYSIWYG editor. Make doesn’t include styling for indentation of paragraphs either. And you can’t change the line height without editing the CSS.
Since you don’t want to mess with CSS, you might be best served to find a plugin to help you have more control over how your text is rendered.
Good luck!
