In reply to: [Payment Button for PayPal] No details on order entry, no log visible@naa986 i still have this issue… tried a few different setups, sandbox and IPN simulator as well this time.
If i use the IPN simulator to send a notification to the default mydomain.com/?wp_paypal_ipn=1 IPN handler, the debug log works properly, the order entry in the orders list is successfully and correctly generated, with all its provided details attached.
On the other hand, when a live transaction is carried out, instead of the entry in the orders list being correctly generated by the script/backend, a generic “order” entry with empty fields (no order details) is generated instead.
Also, when a transaction is carried out live, the log gets always totally purged, even this “Log reset success” message that was there, before carrying the transaction out, completely disappears:
[DATE] - SUCCESS : Log reset ------------------------------------------------------------------I’m asking help to you, the developer of this plugin, but if for some reason you can’t provide the help i’m looking for, can you at least tell me?
Maybe you can point something to look out for, that might be the cause of these errors, so that i can try to solve myself?
