Thank you very much for the efforts and your support. Well, it did not work, but I’m pretty sure, that we were not far away from the goal.
To be honest, this topic is out of my personal comfortzone, so I decided to transfer the task to the developer working on our website. He should be more into this kind of code, than I am.

🙂 Yah, read another tread about that. Just tried, not there yet…
I have installed the snippet plugin, created a new snippet (looks good), activated the snippet, but still no change regarding the feed.
Issue is deeper than I acknowleged at first. I’m using fusion containers for the style of the product description. Maybe that leads to a barrier.
