my first attempt was by uploading the plugin downloaded from here, after it did not work, I deleted it and downloaded again assuming it might have been an incomplete or corrupted file. That was not the case. I deleted the plugin again and installed from wp-admin/plugin-install.php using the WP repository and that failed too. Then I downloaded the older version and installed successfully by uploading.

vielleicht ist es auch was anderes, ich bin gerade dabei das zu Debugger, bzw. meine Plugins waren nicht up to date, updates wurden aber nicht angezeigt auf der plugin Seite im Backend. Es kann also gut sein, dass die ganze Installation irgendeinen Fehler hat, den ich jetzt erst mal zu erst finden muss, dann die Updates machen und es würde mich nicht wundern, wenn es dann funktioniert. Ich sage dann Bescheid, ob das Problem fortbesteht.Viele Grüße
